Bangkok's best known sight is the temple of Wat
Phra Kaew, situated within the grounds of the Grand Palace.
Other notable temples include Wat Pho,
Wat Arun, Wat
Suthat and Wat Traimit.
MUSEUMS
Bangkok's extensive National museum houses the best collection
in the country; other significant collections include those
in Jim Thompson's House, the Suan
Pakkard Palace and Vimanmek Palace.
MARKETS
The sprawling Chatuchak Weekend market is the largest , but
other markets include Nakhon Kasem or Thieve's Market, Pahurat
Indian Market and Chinatown's Sampeng
Lane.
