Natural treasures: 9 days: A rewarding journey that travels through some of Thailand's most beautiful and secluded areas. Experience the natural treasures of Thailand as we cruise along rivers surrounded by dense jungles, swim in freshwater pools, walk through spectacular jungles and relax on pristine beaches.

NATIONAL TREASURES

Day 1 Bangkok: Arrive in Bangkok

Days 2-4 River Kwai:

From Bangkok, we travel directly to Kanchanaburi via an authentic floating market, visit spectacular Khao Bin Cave and travel by longtail boat along the River Kwai to your jungle rafthouse. The following morning we drive to Hellfire Pass and board the Nam Tok to Kanchanaburi Railway (also known as Death Railway). The scenary is stunning as you cross the famous Bridge over the River Kwai. En route back to Bangkok we stop at Erawan National Park and explore this beautiful 550 sq km park, including its seven levels of waterfalls. After a swim in one of the park's serene pools we return to Bangkok and connect with the overnight train to Surat Thani.

Days 5-6 Khao Sok National Park:

Khao Sok National Park is located in one of the country's most beautiful regions. We walk through pristine jungle, searching for wild gibbons, langur, monkeys and swarms of butterflies. A day is spent exploring Lake Chiaw Lan, surrounded by magnificent limestone mountains and rainforests.

Days 7-9 Ao Nang:

We travel by bus to the beautiful clear waters and long sandy beaches of Ao Nang Bay. After a relaxing afternoon on the beach, we spend a day cruising off the coast of Ao Nang to some of the tropical islands such as Koh Pada. Here you can try your hand at snorkelling before taking a picnic lunch at one of these pristine isolated islands
